Alex sings “Trouble”

Alex took to the stage tonight with guitar in hand to sing “Trouble” which has been done by many artists in the past. After his version of the song here were the judges comments and thoughts:

Randy-Thought it was a good song chioce for Alex but didn’t feel “wowed by it” enjoyed it but thought it could have been a little faster and more upbeat.

Ellen said he is ripining so fast, he’s becoming a mushy banana! She feels he just gets better and better every week! She really really enjoyed it.

Kara said the only thing standing in the way of him winning is himself. He is so good but is still so stiff and not letting go, she wants to see him “in the moment” and being himself!

Simon agreed with Kara. He thinks Alex needs to get himself somewhere else..”imagine randy in a bikini” he needs to relax–stop thinking about the cameras and just let himself go!

    Your voice reminds me of James Blunt, you should sing ‘Beautiful.’

    I love your voice. Don’t worry about tonight, you’ll get a record deal. You are so much better than some of the guys up there. You did great!! Keep it up.

    DO NOT QUIT SINGING! I loved your voice and performances. Although you have some “growing” to do, you should not let this deter you from continuing forward. You have an absolutely amazing voice, talent, and gift. Go out, develop it, and share it! I CAN’T WAIT!

    Alex, I’m hoping they pull out a Wild Card rule to get you back on the show. I don’t know how America possibly let you go. Maybe everybody just assumed the rest of the country was voting for you and you’d be safe.

    I would buy any album you put out. You have an amazing voice and I was so disappointed to see you leave. You were one of the best!
